News For June

Welcome to the brand-new format of our monthly updates ~ with summer finally here, we have lots to report!


First, we would like to congratulate all graduates, high school and upper level!  What a tremendous accomplishment.  WOMT salutes you!


With the approach of summer comes the reopening of the Farmer's Market.  Tuesday evenings and Saturday mornings, stop down to the parking lot across the street from the library.  You'll enjoy a wonderful atmosphere of food, friends, and community spirit ~ all while supporting the local economy!


We have a bunch of remotes taking place in the month at June, with plenty of chances for fun and prizes!  Please join us at one or all:


June 11: Menards, 10-noon
June 16: Two Rivers Kiwanis, 4pm
June 17: Time Out, 5-7pm
June 23: Hog Rally, 4-7pm
June 24: Classic Car Show, 6pm
June 25: Hog Rally, 10:30-3


Tickets are now on sale for Ultimate Tribute 5: Music Through The Decades!  The show takes place on Wednesday, July 27, and will feature music from many artists, including Elvis Presley, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Def Leppard, Cher, Shania Twain, and Lady Gaga!  Before the show, you can also exclusively experience the first ever Money Talks Red Carpet Event ~ a totally FREE event unlike any the Lakeshore has seen before.  Tickets for Ultimate Tribute are available at the Capitol Civic Centre Box Office.


MetroJam will take place this year June 24 and 25 in Manitowoc's Washington Park!  MetroJam is described as "the premier music festival in Northeastern Wisconsin; committed to being 'the musical oasis' on the Wisconsin festival scene...or as the Milwaukee Sentinal Journal proclaimed last year, 'Metro Jam operates on the belief that all music should play nice together.'"  Stop down to the park to hear all the musical acts, including Friday's headliner Bill Wharton "The Sauce Boss" and Saturday's headliner Cracker.  This is a totally FREE community event, so don't miss it!
